Sunday’s Top Ten: Why Do Bad Things Happen?

1. We will possibly never fully understand why bad things happen to good people but He is God and we are not, and when you can’t see His plan and you can’t follow His hand, you can always trust His heart because He is good!
2. Here’s reason #1 bad things happen to good people: because You Live In A Broken World.
3. You can allow the trouble of this world to make you question God or you can allow it to make you cry out to Him.
4. You Brought It On Yourself.
5. Bad things happen to good people ‘cause good people make bad choices.
6. God Wants To Do Something Big In Your Life.
7. God took something painful and made something beautiful from it.
8. God Is Doing Something In You.
9. If you’ll let God use the fire, He will refine you.
10. When bad things happen, God is still good.

I wanna thank you pastor stu for your message on Sunday! It hit home in a very powerful way! I left restored and encouraged knowing that God is at work in my life. I ask that you keep my family in your prayers through these dark days.
Thank you and my God bless you and your family!

What an awesome service Sunday…..I was so moved by the 11:00 service, I asked my 11 year old grand to come with me to the 6:00 one. She attends another local church, but she comes with me on Sun. night sometimes. She even took notes…..I was happy to see her do so, and when I took her home…..she was sharing her notes with family.

I moved away about 3 years ago and I am so thankful that I am able to still keep up with WEC online. Love this series topic, cant wait for the rest of the series!

This message just keeps coming back to me. I came to WEC after my divorce and I have been on again and off again in coming. Back and forth with anger. This message gave me more clarity than I can possibly express. Thank you for being such an amazing messenger of Christ’s word. I thought I could come to this church and quietly sit in the back without notice. God’s amazing Grace continues to heal me and pull me in. I just wanted to say Thank you for sending me his message and helping to renew my will to live and serve.
